Fipronil

Uses:  Fipronil disrupts central nervous system conduction by blocking chloride transmission regulated by gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). It is safe, highly effective, and has no cross-resistance. It primarily acts as a contact and stomach poison and can control insects when applied as a soil or seed dressing.
