Paraquat

Uses: Paraquat is a fast-acting herbicide with both contact and some systemic activity. It is rapidly absorbed by green plant tissue, causing it to wither and die. It has no effect on non-green tissue. It loses its herbicidal activity quickly upon contact with soil, leaving no residue, harming plant roots, or polluting the environment. It has low toxicity to poultry, fish, and bees.
