Sodium Methyl Ester Sulfonate (MES) is a high-performance anionic surfactant widely used as a finishing agent for chemical fiber spinning and as an auxiliary agent in textile printing and dyeing. It also serves as an efficient calcium-soap dispersant for bar soaps and soap powders, making it one of the primary active ingredients in modern detergent formulations.
MES can partially replace Linear Alkylbenzene Sulfonate (LAS) and Sodium Tripolyphosphate (STPP), allowing the formulation of low-phosphorus or phosphorus-free detergents. This makes it especially suitable for the production of enzyme-added concentrated laundry powders and eco-friendly cleaning products.
Excellent Detergency
Strong cleaning ability even in hard water and low-temperature conditions
